Throughout the timeline of various human civilizations, cultures have been relying on traditional herbal medicines for the well-being of humans physically and mentally. There are no official dosage recommendations for the plant as the findings from Echinacea are highly variable. However, 300-500 mg in powdered form or 10ml/day in tinctures seems to be effective in increasing immunity. 

Delta 8 is a cannabinoid found and extracted from the cannabis plant. Grown in the lands of Indonesia, the herb has been gaining immense popularity in recent times due to its potential benefits on physical and mental health. 

Method of Consumption – 

There are numerous methods to consume Delta 8, ranging from tinctures, vaping, and dabbing to Delta 8 gummies. Each of them provides a different experience in terms of consumption. But in terms of benefits and relief, they work more or less the same. 

Ginseng is a medicinal plant that has been popular in traditional Chinese medicines and is used to reduce inflammation, boost immunity, improve brain function, and have high energy levels. The ginseng plant comes in many varieties. The most famous are the Asian and American types. The American plant is known for inducing relaxation, and the Asian one for stimulating purposes. 

How to consume Ginseng 

There are many ways to consume Ginseng. The most common ones are consuming raw or steamed. You can find the extract of the herb in powder, tablet, capsule, and oil forms. You can also use it with water to make a strong tea. Bottom line, it is easy to add Ginseng into your diet. 

St. John Wort (SJW) is an herbal medicine derived from the flowering plant Hypericum Perforatum; these are small, yellow flowers commonly used to make teas, capsules, and extracts. The usage of this herb traces back to ancient Greece.    

How to consume SJW 

The dried version of the herb comes in capsules and tablets. Other versions are also available in the form of extract and tea.    

Also known as Nature’s Valium, Valerian is a flowering plant whose roots are said to induce a sense of calm and provide relaxation feelings. The uses of herbs have roots back in ancient Greece and Rome, where they used to treat restlessness, tremors, headaches, and heart palpitations. 

For anxiety, a small dose of 120-200 mg is enough to help through the day, and for insomnia, a higher dosage of 300-600mg, 2 hours before sleeping. 

These are some of the herbal plants found in the USA. Throughout history, their traces can be seen all over civilizations. You should also note that their usage and research have never been on this scale, and it is only going up!
